Infotep and Supérate seek to provide training to incorporate them into the labor market with technical skills
Around 80,000 beneficiaries of the Supérate Program They could be trained in different technical careers, through the National Institute of Professional Technical Training (Infotep), with the aim of incorporating them into the labor market with the necessary skills to get a job or develop their own ventures.
This was established through an agreement signed by Rafael Santos Badía, general director of Infotep and Gloria Reyes, general director of Supérate.
Santos Badía affirmed that the agreement is a crucial investment in the future of Dominican youth and committed to equipping young people with the necessary skills to access decent and well-paid jobs, as well as to promote their own ventures.
For her part, Gloria Reyes, highlighting the importance of the agreement, explained that the main purpose is to train more than 40,000 beneficiaries of Supérate per yearas a way of creating the foundations for the construction of the building of progress and well-being.
In addition to conventional careers, such as beauty, sewing, or cooking courses, the agreement focuses on other careers such as mechatronics, computing, cybersecurity, data analysis, nursing, pharmacies, business administration, sales, agricultural technicians, among others. .
The program will begin in January 2025 and will train 40 thousand beneficiaries annually in qualification and complementation modalities. Another 40 thousand will receive training at the Supérate Community Improvement Centers (CSCS) and community centers.
