They show interest in a family that lives by bus

Bernard Mars.

Santiago. The office of the Ombudsman and the National Council for the Aging Person (Conape) have become interested in the case of a family who, after collapsing their home, moved into the shell of a bus.
After reading the information published by the newspaper elCaribe, in which Bernarda Marte narrates the precariousness in which several people live, including an adult over 80 years of age, both entities have shown their interest in the case. Conape is the state entity responsible for ensuring the fundamental rights of older adults, for this reason, it reported that it is working to locate this family in order to provide care in the case of the elderly woman.

Bernarda Marte, together with her mother, her husband and two of her children, decided to take the roof of the bus and place sticks on it, standing on a line of block, and pieces of wood and cardboard that serve as a wall, attached to a neighbor’s house.
