A criminal was killed in Zulia during an armed confrontation with military personnel.
Reports to which we had access indicate that members of the National Anti-Extortion and Kidnapping Command (Conas) sustained the armed confrontation with members of the criminal organization founded by Erick Alberto Parra Mendoza, alias Yeiko Masacre.
The scuffle took place in the Palmarejo sector, Santa Rita municipality, Zulia state, in response to investigation order No. GNB-CONAS-GAES-11-ZULIA-ADE-0552-22, for the crime of extortion and terrorist acts. At the site, a subject yet to be identified was killed and who fired a 380-caliber Hi-point Firearms pistol, which was seized.
Yeiko Masacre’s gang is responsible for multiple attacks with firearms and explosive devices, including the one carried out against the facilities of Detachment 113 of the Bolivarian National Guard located in Sata Rita (Zulia), according to the report.
