Before that event, officials from the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) had a confrontation with allies of Carlos Capa in the Rangel sector, Ocumare del Tuy, Miranda. The subjects fled and left ten mini-marijuana wrappers, two radio transmitters, two black t-shirts identified with the acronym FAES, a green tactical vest and a black Kevlar helmet at the site.
The aforementioned material was seized by the military, as well as a Glock magazine, 30 7.62x39mm caliber cartridges destined for rifles, ten 9mm caliber cartridges and a motorcycle. The Public Ministry was notified of the procedure.
