An inmate was killed with a firearm at La Mega Joya, as confirmed by Commissioner Luis García, who said that the victim was serving an 80-month prison sentence for aggravated drug possession.
The first investigations carried out by the National Police in conjunction with the Public Ministry, the homicide victim is 42-year-old Nick Reynaldo Ceballos Ramírez and the incident took place in patio three of pavilion one of Mesa Joya.
Ceballos Ramírez also had a measure of provisional detention for possession and trafficking of weapons and explosives and an intermediate hearing for gang membership.
