The Alcarrizos. A man was shot and wounded by others who were traveling in a white vehicle, police reported.
The director of the regional Santo Domingo Oeste, José Suarez Burgos, identified the victim as Juan Carlos Cuevas Féliz, 36 years old, a resident of Second Street.
Suárez Burgos explained that the victim received the wounds in the right buttock with exit in the left knee, being taken to the Santo Aquino clinic, where he underwent surgery.
According to his wife Juana Indira de la Rosa, 24, that her husband Cuevas Féliz left their house to take a vehicle to the garage and then heard several shots.
Police officers from Criminal Investigations are in charge of the investigation and await the recovery of the victim to interview him.
