The cemetery the apacheta put up for sale approx. 80 spaces to build mausoleums in order to have guaranteed niches to bury the remains of their relatives.
The director of the cemetery, Carlos Oporto, reported yesterday that the land for sale is in 3 sectors, with an extension of 10 square meters to house 16 bodies and the amount varies from 85,000 soles in sector C, 110,000 in sector B and 150,000 soles in sector C.

The spaces of 6.50 square meters vary from 55 thousand 250 soles to 97 thousand 500while the land of 5.50 square meters varies from 46 thousand 750 to 82 thousand 500 soles.
The official indicated that the variation is due to the location of the spaces.
Interested people can even pay in 6 installments and within a year to build the tombs according to the design created by the user.
The design and construction plan will have to be presented and approved by the cemetery management. If the building is not complied with, a penalty will be applied.
Oporto indicated that this is a way to generate income for the Charity for the self-support of the shelters it manages.
NEW PAVILION WITH 910 NICHES
The director of the cemetery also stated that in the following months they will deliver a new pavilion with a capacity of 910 niches.
To date, temporary niches are they sell for 6 thousand 674 soles in the front row of a pavilion for a period of 10 years, while the permanent one for 50 years is 7 thousand 432 soles.
But, if the person wants to secure his niche and acquires it in life, the cost at this level is 9,256 soles.
The prices of the niches in the seventh level are 2 thousand 304 soles for 10 years and 3,980 for 50 years and the purchase in life at 5,750 soles.
The construction of a wake is also projected, so that families have the complete service in the cemetery.
