A total of 34 cartridges for rifles belonging to the criminal organization Tren del Llano, were located in Peña de Mota, a wooded area of Altagracia de Orituco, Guárico, according to military sources.
The location of the cartridges occurs in the midst of a persecution undertaken by agents of the Bolivarian and Poliguarico National Guard, among others, against members of the Tren del Llano. Minutes before, the criminals had ambushed a regional police patrol where the officer Will José Polanco González was assassinated.
After that murder, the military agents took over the Peña de Mota sector where the members of the Tren del Llano usually take refuge.
In the aforementioned place, the officials also found two motorcycles and two AK-103 rifle chargers.
Other sources reported the presence of a group made up of 15 individuals wearing shoes with weapons and motorcycles with which they travel in rural areas located between Tucupido and Zaraza, northeast of Guárico.
Witnesses say that the subjects are dedicated to collecting vaccines in dollars from the agro-producers (large, medium and small) of Los Novillos and other hamlets in that area.
