The Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) detained four subjects and seized 104 cartridges of different calibers, according to military sources.
Among the detainees is Estefany Gabriela Hernández Torres, alias La Kinkona, a member of the Los Virulos criminal group, who operate in the Pueblo Viejo sector, Mariño municipality (Irapa), Sucre. The woman was seized 13 7.62×39 cartridges intended for rifles.
And at the Citizen Service Point located in Clarines (Anzoátegui), the military detained Carlos Rafael Castillo and seized 65 12-gauge cartridges and one 16-gauge cartridge, which he was transporting in a Ford Explorer, license plate AD501GM.
Another captured is Saúl Fonseca Villamizar who was arrested in the Los Tanques sector, Guarenas (Miranda) where they seized 25 9 mm caliber cartridges and two pistol magazines. The subject is a member of the Los Monos criminal group, according to the report.
Those detained in these proceedings will be prosecuted for illegal possession of ammunition, among other crimes.
