Five vessels allegedly associated with illegal drug trafficking were seized by agents attached to the Regional Anti-drug Intelligence Unit (Uria), according to military sources.
The procedure was carried out as a continuation of the investigation opened to Cesar Augusto Camacaro Hoyos, who has an arrest warrant for the crimes of aggravated illicit drug trafficking, war weapons and ammunition trafficking, money laundering and criminal association, explained the fountain.
On this occasion, three of the vessels were seized at the facilities of the Socialista Pescalba company, located in Cumana, Sucre state and are identified by the names of: Gaeta registration APNN-PE-1633, La Maddalena AMMT-1117 and Don José AMMT -PE-0252.
The other two were anchored in the Astilleros de Oriente company, also located in Cumaná: Gulf of Venezuela registration AMMT-PE-0469 and Zeus, the source explained.
