The Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) seized in Guanaguana, Piar municipality (Aragua de Maturín), Monagas32 panels of marijuana, according to military sources.
The procedure was carried out by a mixed commission with military and police officers who retained a Pick Up truck, Chevrolet Silverado, license plate XBT490.
When checking the gas tank, the troops located the 32 panelas of marijuana that totaled twenty-five kilograms with 725 grams.
The occupants of the vehicle identified as Ronald José Rodríguez Yaguarin, Junior José Salazar and Freddy José Gil Parejo, who will be prosecuted for illicit drug trafficking, were detained in the operation.
In another procedure, military personnel retained 12 marijuana wrappers, weighing four kilos with 556 grams, hidden in a false bottom with two wooden shelves.
This procedure was carried out at the Citizen Service Point located in El Remolino, José Antonio Páez municipality (Guasdualito), Apure. There they checked a motorcycle manned by Edgar Segundo Rincón Díaz and Neutro de Jesús Reverol Vergara, coming from El Amparo (Apure) bound for the El Remolino sector.
And in the Barrio Obrero sector, El Callao municipality (Bolívar), the military detained César Armando Tineo Núñez, a member of the criminal group Tren de Guayana.
Tineo was seized a marijuana wrapper, a portion of cocaine, a 9mm pistol, a pistol charger, twelve 9mm caliber cartridges, a motorcycle without a license plate, a digital scale and three telephone sets.
