They seized 18 gang members with 155 cartridges

A total of 155 cartridges of various calibers were seized from 18 members of criminal groups captured in various procedures, according to military sources.

Four of the detainees were captured in the Rural Santa Elena sector, Unión municipality (Santa Cruz de Bucaral), Falcón state.

Those captured are: Héctor José Morales Ajunta (El Pelusa), Francisco Antonio Marrufo Camacho (El Muñeco), Iter Ramón Marrufo Querales (El Peluo) and Lisandro José Ajunta Carrasco (El Lisandro), members of the Structured Organized Crime Group Los Chicateros, according to a report from the Rural Commando Detachment 13-1 of the Bolivarian National Guard.

Four 12-gauge shotguns, two cartridges, a .38 caliber adapter, and a radio transmitter were seized from these people.

In the La Ceiba sector, Pedro Zaraza municipality (Guárico), they captured four members of the criminal group Oscar de Jesús del Llano, considered a cell of the Tren del Llano.
The subjects are registered as Honorio De Jesús Ynfante Guaima, José Ali Medina, Edgar Santiago Ynfante Machado and Armando José Medina. These people possessed two 16 shotguns, a Ford Triton license plate A96AJ4U and an Empire Keeway Horse 150 motorcycle license plate AF1T2001, according to a report from Detachment 343 of the GNB.

In Aragua there were four procedures, one of them in the Barrio Loco sector, Zamora municipality (Villa de Cura), where the military seized 41 cartridges, six of them destined for rifles and twenty-seven 30mm caliber, among others.

The material was in the possession of two members of the criminal group Los Cara Cortadas, a cell of the Aragua Trainidentified as Héctor Luis González, Andrés Correa Gallego and Yovanny Rodríguez.

In the Los Angelinos sector, San Mateo (Aragua), the military seized 40 cartridges for 7.62×51 mm caliber rifles and detained José Ángel Martínez Yanes.

Also in San Mateo, agents from the GNB Rural Commando Detachment 42-2 detained three members of Los Negritos, another cell that reports to the Tren de Aragua.

Eleven 9 mm cartridges, 24 rifle cartridges and two radio transmitters were seized from the subjects. In that operation, they detained Josué Camuan Tonocolia, Hermes Pérez and Alexander Morales, who were in a sentry box.

The fourth procedure in Aragua was carried out in San Vicente, Maracay, where the military seized 20 rifle cartridges that Rafael Villalobos was transporting.

  • In the state of Miranda, two procedures took place with the seizure of war material. In the La Pica sector, Simón Bolívar municipality (San Francisco de Yare), they seized a Pietro Beretta 9 mm pistol, an extra-long magazine containing thirteen cartridges and two radio transmitters. In that operation, Víctor Alexander Pérez Hernández, a member of the criminal group founded by Deiber González, alias Carlos Capa.
  • Another of the procedures in Miranda occurred in the Río Grande sector, Zamora municipality (Guatire), where a Pietro Beretta 92FS pistol, 9 mm caliber, was seized with its magazine containing three cartridges. The weapon was carried by Wilmer José Brelio Linarez, who was arrested.
  • And in Arichuna (Apure), military agents detained a member of the El Fiebre group, identified as Jesús Omar Morales Romero. The subject was seized a 9mm pistol, a modified pistol magazine, 10 cartridges and a radio transmitter.
