the gideon
- One month before Operation Gideon was carried out (May 2020), the GNB seized assets attributed to Raúl del Gallego and Emilio Martínez, alias Chiche Smith. Those operations are very similar to those that are now carried out against Infante and Camacaro.
- The then Minister of the Interior, Néstor Reverol, declared that operation in April 2020, who said that Del Gallego and Martínez directed organizations dedicated to trafficking and money laundering from Falcón and Carabobo.
