The packages were sealed with clear plastic, hidden in the cooling fans of both containers destined for the ports of Rotterdam in the Netherlands and Port of Dublin in Ireland.
A total of 102 packages with alleged illicit substances, which were in two containers on a ship from Chile, were seized this Tuesday by police units in a port located in the province of Colón, during a raid carried out with officials from the Public Ministry.
The packages were sealed with clear plastic, hidden in the cooling fans of both containers destined for the ports of Rotterdam in the Netherlands and Port of Dublin in Ireland.
The evidence was placed at the orders of the corresponding authorities.
From January to April, the National Police through its operational actions seized 9,153 packages with suspected drugs in the different ports of the country.
