The place was administered by Pastor José Insfrán, who -according to the investigations- was part of a criminal structure linked to money laundering from drug trafficking.
According to the investigations, the intervened points would be linked to the Insfrán Clan and would be part of the patrimony forged based on the laundering of assets from drug trafficking. The expensive constructions and large events of a religious nature served to inject ill-gotten money into the local financial circuit.
All these procedures are part of the “A Ultranza PY” mega-operation, which has been going on for more than a week, resulting in the seizure of various assets and real estate that would be linked to groups associated with drug trafficking. Likewise, the arrest of several people who would be operating in these criminal associations has been achieved.
So far, José Insfrán is still a fugitive and the authorities still have no news of his whereabouts.
