The governor of Miranda state, Héctor Rodríguez, delivered goods and materials seized from sectors linked to corruption in a shed located on the Guarenas-Guatire Axis, of that central entity. The action occurred during the act of Promulgation of the Organic Law of Domain Forfeiture.
Accompanied by authorities from different ministries, the governor toured the facilities where all kinds of material was found, which will be placed under the orders of the People’s Power through State institutions.
The Minister of Public Works, General Raúl Paredes, indicated that machinery was seized to be used in rain plans and unexpected situations. He added that these implements will be put in order for the endowment of the bricomiles.
For his part, the Minister of Ecosocialism, Josué Lorca, reported the seizure of 10 garbage compactor trucks, valued at $70,000 each. This machinery will be put at the service of the communities of Miranda state for the collection of solid waste.
The Minister of Health, Magaly Gutiérrez Viña, was also at the scene and highlighted the seizure of surgical medical supplies, several power plants for hospitals, and 3 ambulances, which will be placed at the health service in Caracas, Miranda, and La Guaira.
Governor Héctor Rodríguez said that the problem of corruption is “an outrageous problem, but one that has been faced responsibly and we are with him,” he told the president on a television broadcast.
President Maduro asked that, with the seized construction materials, the Great Mission Barrio Nuevo-Barrio Tricolor be strengthened to continue raising the quality of life of the Venezuelan people.
