“Today the public force is carrying out decisive operations, in this case requisitioning, with the sister forces of the National Air Naval Service, the National Border Service and the National Police in search of weapons, drugs and some items that could threaten security. , peace and tranquility in the La Joyita Penitentiary Center, in this case pavilion 10, with the discovery and seizure of 10 firearms, 4 pistols, 2 38 caliber revolvers, a large number of cell phones and plates, which will be be placed at the orders of the authorities, “said the Head of the Police Penitentiary Security Service, Luis García.
He stated that they remain in constant active operations with which they have seized, so far this year, some 350 drones trying to enter prohibited items in the La Joya, La Joyita and La Mega Joya prisons, through which they intend to introduce weapons, drugs and other items.
