The head of the Ministry of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC), Omar García Harfuch, informed that in Culiacán, Sinaloa, elements of the Criminal Investigation Agency of the Attorney General’s Office and personnel of the National Defense Secretariat carried out “a search in a property used for the Armament shelter, where they secured 37 firearms, loaders, cartridges, 150 kilos and 80 liters Chemical substances, as well as tactical equipment. ”
It was reported that the operation was carried out in a property of the Urbivilla del Cedro subdivision, in the capital of Sinaloa.
The property was sealed and under police protection, while the confiscated elements were made available to the Public Prosecutor for the corresponding investigations. The aforementioned operation was carried out “within the framework of the safety reinforcement in Sinaloa, with the support of elements of the Secretariats of National Defense, of the Marina-Armada de México, the National Guard, as well as the SSPC.
