They seize a drone and bullets from the Luis Manilla gang

Security agencies continue with the disarmament of criminal gangs that were recruited to foment acts of violence in the days leading up to January 10, 2025, the date of the inauguration of the elected president, Nicolás Maduro, according to reports.

The actions have focused on Aragua, Zulia and Carabobo, where cells of criminal groups operate that have been mobilizing weapons and ammunition in recent days.

In Las Tejerías (Aragua), military personnel seized 23 cartridges and a drone, material that was in the possession of Rosney Alexander Parra Parra, a member of the criminal gang founded by Luis Rafael Santana Argueta (31), alias Luis Manilla, according to a report from the Command National Anti-Extortion and Kidnapping (Conas) No. 42.

Luis Manilla, a partner of the Aragua Train, was killed on October 3 during a police-military deployment that took place in Morocopo, Tasajera and other sectors of the Aragüeño municipalities José Rafael Revenga (El Consejo) and Santos Michelena (Las Tejerías) .
In Dos Caminos (Guárico), the military detained Julio César Godoy Ojeda and seized a shotgun and two bullets from him.

In Carabobo there were five detainees from whom 10 cartridges, three 12-gauge shotguns and a .38 revolver were confiscated.

The arrests took place in Valencia, Montalbán and Morón, according to reports from the GNB, whose agents identified the detainees as César Morillo, José Alberto de León Chiazzese, Carlos Silva, Ricardo Salinas and Carlos González.

In Zulia they confiscated two firearms: a 12-gauge shotgun carried by Luis Enmanuel Graterol Barriga in the town of Bobures and a shotgun carried by Dannys José Ramírez through the La Múcura sector, Rosario de Perijá.
