A total of 925 packages of presumed illicit substances were seized on the night of Tuesday, January 17, by the National Police through a search and search procedure in a Port located in the province of Colón.
Deputy Commissioner Basilio Sánchez, chief in charge of the Colón Police Zone, said that this shipment of alleged drugs, which was hidden in 18 briefcases, inside a container, coming from Nicaragua, was destined for Tuticorin India, with this seizure again by the National Police wages another fight against drug trafficking, where the transfer of illicit substances is neutralized.
In less than 24 hours, the National Police seized more than two tons of drugs in two port terminals. The frontal fight against drug trafficking continues throughout the national territory.
