In order to prevent the commission of crimes against public health, the State Security policies, Prosecutor’s Office, participated in a preventive action in two establishments selling natural products in Huancayo. The authorities seized 250 kilos of honey, collagen, tea and expired nuts, without registration and with health observations.
Alerted that products with expired expiration dates were being used up and stored, the agents intervened in the “Naturatech” naturist establishments located at Jr. Santiago Norero No. 445 in the district of El Tambo and the “Sun lif” naturist commercial establishment located in Calle Royal No. 983.
During the inspection, natural products were found such as pots of honey, nuts, collagen, supplements, Chinese tea, proteins, among others, which were seized for presenting health observations such as: expired health registration, in poor condition, dated expired and others of dubious origin.
Everything confiscated was placed in ten properly sealed cardboard boxes for subsequent evaluation and final destination. The owners of the two premises were summoned for the alleged commission of a crime against public health. Meanwhile, the 50 kilos of seized products valued at about 26 thousand soles, were transferred to the warehouses of the State Security Unit in Milltingo.
The Police drew up the corresponding minutes and urged those responsible for the businesses to work under the observance of the current regulations established by the competent authorities, under responsibility.
