The deputy for the province of San Pedro de Macorís and president of the National Confederation of Dominican Workers (CNTD), Jacobo Ramoshe submitted to the Chamber of Deputies a draft resolution that seeks to guarantee greater salary equity in the country.

The initiative asks the President Luis Abinader instruct the Minister of Labor, Eddy Olivaresto promote the equalization of the minimum wages in the sectors of free zones and rurism with which they currently govern in the non -sectorized sector.
“The country cannot continue with an unequal salary regime that affects talent retention and generates high labor rotation indices. Social justice begins by guaranteeing worthy income to those who hold strategic sectors with their work,” said Ramos.
