Through decree No.789-21, dated December 7, 2021, the cooperative of savings, credit and multiple services of the employees and related of the Executing Technical Unit of Agroforestry Development Projects (COOPEAUTEPDA) was incorporated, a corporate entity that the date of the appointment of Professor Eliferbo Herasme did not exist and that since the conclusion of international agreements with the IDB in 2018, it was established as one of the main objectives.
It seeks to create a solid base through the cooperative system for agricultural producers. Therefore, it is one more achievement of the good management that Professor Herasme has been developing at the head of UTEPDA.
The purpose of COOPEAUTEPDA is to create national and international business plans that favor agroforestry farmers for socioeconomic development personally and for their peoples as the main goal of sustainability supported by present and future agricultural production in the provinces where the UTEPDA.
Professor Eliferbo Herasme expressed that personally, he is a cooperative leader who faithfully believes in the development of peoples through cooperatives, and that COOPEUTEPDA will be a solid entity in the future, because it was born with a technical and legal entity that will prevent any act of financial corruption and will guarantee the investments of its partners and the local and international marketing of agricultural products without the need for intermediaries.
