Rodríguez pointed out that in this context full of problems to solve, tourism has become a lever for the development of Well-being.
He also said that the Spanish kings talked with the native Mexican people “about where they were, what experience they had, what their necklaces, clothing were like.”
“It was at a time when we could learn more about our culture. The secretaries said what place they were from. Then we talked about the World Cup. Remember that we are the host, then they are,” Rodríguez said.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup will take place in Mexico, the United States and Canada. In 2030, it will be held in Spain, Morocco and Portugal, with inaugural matches in Uruguay, Argentina and Paraguay.
Josefina Rodríguez also highlighted that tourism is unity. “It is a unity of good will,” he said.
“The Minister of Tourism of Spain has helped us a lot, along with the ambassador. Imagine what it is like to put the Madroño Bear in Puerta del Sol. Without that work, it will not be achieved. Tourism is union,” he expressed.
