They rule out the existence of explosives in the Oil Box and investigate where the false alarm came from

The Bolivian Police ruled out this Thursday the existence of an explosive device inside the building of the Caja Petrolera de Salud (CPS), located in El Prado in the city of La Paz. Now it is being investigated where the anonymous call came from.

The incident occurred minutes after 10:00, when a telephone contact alerted to the existence of a “bomb” on the fifth floor of the infrastructure. The institution of order deployed a contingent to evacuate the workers and perform raking tasks.

Ismael Villca, departmental commander of Verde Olivo, maintained that it was a false alert and that Now the Anti-Crime Force is investigating the origin of the call, which supposedly came from a landline.

“Intelligence, firefighters and Felcc personnel have been dislocated. We must identify where the call came from, beyond ruling out the existence of the explosive device. It was a disservice to the population, the uniformed men had to be deployed when they could be carrying out other activities,” he pointed out.

The uniformed officer lamented the damage to the population, because officials had to be removed, vehicular traffic and electricity had to be cut off in the entire areain addition to having a significant number of firefighters and agents from the anti-explosive unit.
