The acting president, Delcy Rodríguez, held a high-level working meeting with Venezuelan authorities on Citizen Security in which they reviewed the impact of the Peace Quadrants throughout the national territory.
During the work day, they also reviewed the progress on the security plans for the protection of the Venezuelan population with the purpose reach the goal of 6 thousand quadrants throughout the country; since there are currently 3 thousand in operationwhich represents 57% percent in articulation with the communal circuits.
It is important to highlight that in recent days the Venezuelan President signed and promulgated the reform of the Law of the Statute of the Function of the Investigative Police, during an act of adaptation of the Peace Quadrants in the state of Bolívar.
From said entity, he also reaffirmed the commitment of the Bolivarian Government to strengthening the security bodies, as well as his gratitude to the Venezuelan people, for being the best guarantee of the “perfect coordination,” highlights the presidential press release.
