They reveal the list of 20 players who will go to the U18 World Cup in La Paz, Mexico

Panama will seek its classification in the U18 World Cup in La Paz, Mexico and revealed its team of 20 players that will participate in the tournament that will take place from next November 4, as stated by manager Ricardo Medina.

“A competitive team with good units, we will go out to compete, play hard and seek qualification for the U18 World Cup next year,” said the manager during training this morning at Rod Carew Stadium.

He stressed that Panama will play in Group A of the tournament that grants four quotas to the World Cup and where 10 teams participate. Group A: Mexico, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Nicaragua and Panama. Group B: United States, Venezuela, Canada, Puerto Rico and Peru.

The national team was made up as follows:

Pitchers: Luis Aguilar (Chiriquí), Manuel Moreno (Chiriquí), Carlos Díaz (West), Joshua Saavedra (Herrera), Jezler Baules (Bocas del Toro), Adrian Ardines (Metro) Ismael Velasco (Los Santos) and Emanuel Vargas (Coclé ).

Receivers: José Aparicio (Metro) and Roderick Lezcano (Coclé).

Infield: Alfredo Alderete (West), Alexander Chavez (West), Jeremy Lezcano (West), Luis Escudero (Cocle) and Derek Pinto (East).

Outfielders: Jay Wood (East), Ángel Rodríguez (Herrera), Ricardo Tivey (Darién), Joaquín Gamba (Coclé) and Edwin Waldin (Bocas del Toro).

Technical Body: Ricardo Medina (Manager), Roger Deago (Pitchers Coach), Dimas Ponce (Coach) and Rubén Chiu (Coach).
