The Forensic Report details that no signs of physical violence, sexual abuse or manipulation of the body were found. The clothes were intact, without cuts or tears, and there was no presence of toxic substances or elements that indicated aggression. In addition, water and mud waste were found in the respiratory and digestive system of the girl, which supports the hypothesis that was drowning after entering the river by their own means or in circumstances not yet clarified.

“The girl aspired and ingested water and swamp residues found in her stomach and respiratory tract”says the scientific report of the entity.

Forensic also identified cadaveric phenomena compatible with a death that occurred a few hours after their disappearance, such as Adipocira’s presence, suggesting that the body was submerged for several days. This evidence coincides with the date on which it was last seen leaving school, which has generated new doubts about the sequence of the facts.

Although the medical opinion rules out a violent death, the case continues under investigation. The child of the child, Manuel Afanador, has asked the authorities not to close the process and to delve into the circumstances that led his daughter to the river. According to his statements, Valeria would not have left the school alone, so he insists that he should clarify if someone induced or accompanied her on that journey.

The governor of Cundinamarca, Jorge Emilio Rey, It also spoke about it, demanding that it be thoroughly investigated how it was possible for a minor to leave school without supervision and end up missing. Administrative measures against the educational institution are not ruled out, as well as possible sanctions if any type of negligence is verified.

“We will continue with the sanctioning administrative process that it is in the Ministry of Education of the Department against the Educational Institution, which seeks to determine the alleged deficiencies in the provision of the educational service, which could have taken to this unfortunate situation,” he said in his X account.

For now, the Prosecutor’s Office and Legal Medicine keep several lines of investigation open. Complementary laboratory studies and interviews with people from school and family are still on their way. The authorities ensure that no hypothesis is ruled out and that the objective is to rebuild Valeria’s journey on the day of his disappearance, to understand if it was an accident or if there was third party intervention.
