During the raid by the PNP and Public Ministry, authorized by the Judiciary to the offices of the congresswoman of Peru Libre, María Agüero Gutiérrez, who is being investigated for the alleged crime of concussion, for the ‘Mochasueldos’ case, writings were found that suggest controversial tactics against the justice system, especially towards the National Board of Justice (JNJ), according to images released by Latina.
In a cherry-colored notebook found in the congresswoman’s office in downtown Lima, notes were found that reveal a deliberate strategy to generate internal conflicts in the JNJ. “The JNJ is not going to change, but internal conflicts must be generated,” reads one of the handwritten pages, which is presumed to belong to Agüero.
The notes not only mention the JNJ, but also key figures within the Peruvian judicial system such as the supreme prosecutor Pablo Sánchez and the coordinating prosecutor of the Lava Jato Special Team, Rafael Velaknown for their participation in high-profile cases related to Odebrecht.

Along the same lines, the texts mention a perception of “Monopoly of persecution and letting them have the hegemony of justice.”
Other pages of the notebook raise questions about the party’s image Free Peru against the progressive sectors, known colloquially as ‘caviars’. “Does the deterioration of the caviars contribute to deteriorate or enhance the image of the party?” Agüero would ask in the notebook, answering that “It enhances because the PNPL (Perú Libre) is different.”
Later, phrases are discovered that indicate a more aggressive tactic: “We must destroy the immediate enemy,” followed by support for the censorship of the JNJ, “In favor of censorship of the JNJ.” These statements coincide with the recent vote of Agüero, who supported the disqualification of Aldo Vásquez and Inés Tello, members of the JNJ, for a period of 10 years.
Currently, the authorities continue investigations to confirm the authenticity of these writings and determine if they correspond to Congresswoman Agüero. This finding has sparked renewed debate about political tactics and integrity within the Peruvian justice system.
