MIDES clarifies that visits must adhere to the schedules and statutes of each center, always safeguarding the integrity of older adults. Visits to the Comprehensive Care Centers for the Elderly, of the Ministry of Social Development (MIDES) have been resumed, this after most residents received their three doses of vaccine against Covid-19.

MIDES clarifies that visits must adhere to the schedules and statutes of each center, always safeguarding the integrity of older adults. These guidelines are established in the Guidelines for the Prevention and Management of Contagion by COVID-19 in Comprehensive Care Centers for the Elderly, Admissions-Readmissions and Family Visits through Resolution No.760 of November 30, 2021 , which can be consulted on the page www.mides.gob.pa by entering the section: legal regulations.

It should be noted that the MIDES technical staff continues to supervise and monitor the homes and each of the cases that could be registered.

MIDES reiterates its commitment to ensure the health of older adults by putting into practice all the necessary mitigation measures in the presence of Covid-19.
