They rescued 22 victims of trafficking

Several of the victims, aged between 17 and 35, were foreigners and others from different provinces.

Agents from the Special Investigations Operational Unit Division rescued 22 victims of trafficking in Córdoba and arrested two others, after an investigation that allowed the dismantling of a criminal organization dedicated to recruiting young people, the federal police reported today.

Through an investigation, on July 13 the organization called “L360/IM Mastery Academy”which functioned as a screen for virtual scams.

As a result of this fact, the police officers deepened the investigative tasks and established that a cell of the organization continued to operate, while hiding its victims in a temporary residence, called “Valley Lodging”located on the street Rivera Indarte at 1800and in an apartment on the street Fray Mamerto Esquiu at 200both from the city of Córdoba.

With the data provided by police officials, both residences were raided by order of federal judge 1 Ricardo Bustos Fierros.

In this way, two people were arrested and 22 young victims of trafficking between the ages of 17 and 35 were rescued, of which several of them were foreigners and others from different provinces.

In turn, 25 cell phones, 20 notebooks with annotations of emails and profiles, and three notebooks were seized.

The detainees, Argentines aged 22 and 26 respectively, along with the kidnapped elements, were placed at the disposal of the intervening magistrate in the case labeled “illicit association.”
