The teenagers Aleyda Patricia Sánchez, 14 years old, and Valeria Michel Castro, 15 years old, reported missing since last November 23, were kidnapped in the Santa Rosa community, in El Sauce, León. Both, according to reports from official media, have already been “rescued” by the National Police.
The minors live in the Milagro de Dios and Laureles Sur neighborhoods, in Managua, and were allegedly taken out of their homes, where their captors also ordered them to leave letters in which they made the families believe that they had left for willpower.
At the time of the rescue of the teenagers, according to official reports, the National Police captured and has detained in the El Sauce police station, in León, several people, who allegedly participated in the kidnapping of the minors.

William Castro, a relative of one of the victims, explained to official media that the minors are students at the Miguel Bonilla Institute in Managua, and since last Friday both have not entered classes.
Dina Castro, Valeria’s mother, indicated that the teenagers left letters, which said the same thing and did not correspond to the handwriting of any of them, so they suspect that their captors were the ones who wrote them.
Minor from Matagalpa has been missing for three months
While the two families from the capital celebrate the reunion of their missing teenagers, in Matagalpa, the family of Darling Sarahi Alaniz, 16 years old, who disappeared for three months, continues to request support to find her whereabouts.
The teenager, according to local media reports, left her house located in the Lucidia Mantilla 2 neighborhood, in Matagalpa, and has not returned since.

Relatives of the minor, according to official media, have reported that the teenager “met a boy on Facebook” and this boy is allegedly “originally from Ocotal.” But, although they have managed to contact the young man’s relatives, they have told them that “they know nothing about her.”
