A university student died after falling into the Guaire River on a motorcycle, according to Civil Protection reports. The deceased is identified as Kevin Giovanni Fernández Arcia, 27 years old, whose body was rescued on Wednesday near Las Mercedes, Baruta municipality, Miranda.
Investigations indicate that Kevin fell into Guaire when he was traveling with his motorcycle through Santa Monica, Caracas.
The motorcycle that Kevin drove was borrowed and he did little races on it. Precisely the mishap happened when he was going to look for a client. The boy was swept away by the river current and the motorcycle got stuck on the spot.
Kevin, who lived in Ciudad Tiuna, was studying Architecture at Santa María University. The Cicpc opened an investigation.
