A group of rescuers managed to secure seven dolphins that were isolated in bodies of water of the Rio Grande, in Santa Cruz
The seven dolphins ‘inia boliviensis’ were rescued by experts from the Department of Risk Management of the Government as well as Biodiversity, forest firefighters and the volunteer firefighters foundation of Santa Cruz.
The monitoring of the dolphins was carried out by the staff of the Noel Kempff Mercado Museum of Natural History, work at set that allowed to preserve the little animals, so that finally andhe veterinary staff of the Maryland Zoo – USA, made the specific review to see the health of the dolphins.
Meanwhile, not only the experts in the rescue and conservation of dolphins helped in the workbut also owners of companies, such as Agrosem and the agricultural property La Moneda, after learning of the situation, offered their support by facilitating their transportation and the feeding of the rescue team of the various institutions,
