In the morning hours of this Tuesday, a 47-year-old man, identified as Tirso Lugo Silva, fell from the Caroní bridge into the waters of the homonymous river, being rescued alive by local fishermen, who were doing their daily routine.
According to information provided by witnesses, the victim had fallen from the motorcycle where he was traveling as a griller, while others claim that the man jumped of his own free will into the waters of the Caroní River.
The Ven911 units and teams arrived at the site to transfer the victim to the nearest hospital to receive immediate attention, after being evaluated and detecting a possible fracture at the level of the clavicle.
