They reported 27,154 new infections in the country, 5.7% more than last week

The Ministry of Health reported this Sunday 39 deaths from coronavirus and 27,154 infections in the last week in Argentina, which represents 5.7% more cases than last Sunday (25,680).

According to the released data, the number of deaths decreased 27.7% compared to last week when 54 deaths had been reported.

In this way, there are 129,109 deaths officially registered at the national level and 9,394,326 those infected since the start of the pandemic.

The health portfolio indicated that there are 410 hospitalized patients with coronavirus in intensive care units, with a percentage of occupancy of adult beds in the public and private sectors, for all pathologies, of 44.6% in the country.

During the last week, 19 people died in Buenos Aires, 1 in the City of Buenos Aires, 2 in Chaco, 3 in Córdoba, 5 in Entre Ríos, 1 in La Pampa, 2 in Río Negro, 2 in San Juan, 1 in San Luis, 2 in Santa Cruz, and 1 in Tierra del Fuego.

According to the Public Vaccination Monitor, the total of applied doses amounts to 106,058,147of which 40,846,000 received one dose, 37,612,722 both, 3,101,453 an additional and 24,497,972 a booster, while the vaccines distributed to the jurisdictions reach 113,188,242 and those donated to 5,083,000 .
