They report closure of roads to and from the center of Caracas this #10Jan

The highways of Caracas, in principle, remain clear for citizens and there are platforms on several avenues in the city center


Users on social networks and messaging services report that on the morning of this Friday, January 10, within the framework of the activity scheduled for the Federal Legislative Palace for the inauguration of President Nicolás Maduro, the city roads until 7: 10pm is clear; except to and from the center of Caracas.

According to reports, they indicate that the highway from Caricuao; the Caracas-Guarenas, and the Francisco Fajardo, as well as the highway to Tazón is clear in both directions. However, they began to indicate that there are access control points; especially from Guarenas.

However, they warn that the main avenues that reach the center of the capital have restricted traffic, as well as indicating that most businesses do not go to work.

They detail that on San Martín Avenue there is a platform at the height of Capuchinos. Another is installed on Lecuna Avenue; road that will be closed from Plaza Miranda and a third platform stands out on Nueva Granada Avenue at the height of Inces.

Libertador Avenue heading west, from the EXA Tower – in Chacao – to Cantv, has traffic closed, as does México Avenue in front of the Teresa Carreño Theater. They report a Dgcim checkpoint on Bolívar Avenue in front of Parque Central, as well as several platforms on Urdaneta Avenue.

Carts to Bolívar Avenue are available, but they only go as far as Plaza Venezuela.

This closure of roads to the Center of Caracas joins the announcement made earlier by the governor of Táchira, Freddy Bernal, who said that the border with Colombia will be closed due to the inauguration of President Nicolás Maduro, after it became known that there are alleged plans against the nation.
