Cases of alleged mass poisoning are reported for the fourth time at the Manuel Manrique high school, located in Apartadero, Anzoátegui municipality
At least 32 people, including students and staff of the Manuel Manrique National Bolivarian High Schoollocated in Apartadero, Anzoátegui municipality of Cojedes statewere affected by alleged massive poisoning with an unknown substance, according to a report from the entity’s fire department.
Those affected, mostly students, were taken to the Popular Clinic Type III in Apartadero, where they received medical attention for presenting some symptoms such as dizziness and difficulty breathing.
Likewise, it was learned that seven of the poisoned people were taken to the San Carlos hospital due to complications, however, so far they remain stable. The authorities remain deployed to carry out the respective investigations of the case.
It should be noted that in the months of March, September and November 2025, cases of mass poisoning were reported in this same institution, leaving nearly 200 people affected, including students, teachers and police officers, with symptoms of nausea, dizziness and seizures that, in some cases, required constant medical surveillance and specialized treatment in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
