The morning of this Monday, October 6, citizen security agencies and protection of the Cojedes State, reported a new case of alleged poisoning with an unknown substance, the incident occurred in the spaces of the “Fernando Figueredo” educational unit, located in the Ricaurte municipality, leaving 14 people affected.
The victims, including 13 students and a teacher, presented some symptoms such as headache, dizziness, leg fading, high tension and in one of the cases, a student convulsed, so they were immediately transferred to the Integral Diagnostic Center (CDI) Libertad, located in Lagunita Municipality Ricaurte.
Likewise, relatives of the affected students claim that due to lack of ambulances and fuel, they have not been able to transfer them to the capital city hospital to receive specialized care. However, the authorities are working on the search for solutions to the case, in addition to attending the contingency.
