The head of the Government of Caracas, Nahum Fernández, announced new works being carried out by the capital’s Mayor’s Office, this time in electrical matters in the west of the city.
“We activated with the Mayor at the point that connects the parishes of El Paraíso, San Juan and Santa Rosalía, starting the replacement of 270 lights and 1,500 meters of cable,” Fernández said from his official Twitter account. The work estimates to illuminate the section between Plaza Madariaga, Roca Tarpeya and Quinta Crespo.
Together with the mayor of Caracas, A/J Carmén Meléndez, the Caracas government announced that the works will last around 48 hours and will allow for “fully illuminated and safe spaces.”
The Head of Government concluded by pointing out that a Peace Quadrant will also be activated in the area, “to consolidate a beautiful and safe city.”
