Pablo Noriega, the general director of Administration that depends on the Mayor’s Office of the informed today that buffet food will no longer be provided to parliamentarians and that each one would have to bear the cost of their own food.

“After the report, the food policy that was presented during the parliamentary sessions will change, as a result of the analysis that has been carried out from the date on, human resources have been informed that the delivery of the buffet is left without effect, but I want to make it clear that in the report it was stated that S/180 was paid and it is not true,” said Noriega.

“As of the date, the dining room is being asked to provide service with a varied menu, with different nutrition issues, but that will be covered by the user and not by the budget of Congress, not even in parliamentary sessions. ”, he added.

The General Director of Administration also referred to the complaint from a Sunday about the high costs for renting the parking lot. During his speech, he pointed out that this place is not for congressmen, but for administrative staff.

He also assured that this service will continue and that compared to other garages -which have a rate of S/4 per hour- this one costs Congress S/ 1.1 per hour.

Regarding the luxurious rugs purchased, the head of the Logistics department, Victoriano Hoyos, stated that the budget was not only for changing the rugs, but also for removing the cables and that they were under them.
