They remove another abandoned box in the microcenter of Asunción

This morning a team from the Municipal Surveillance Police proceeded to remove a box located at the intersection of the streets 14 de Mayo and Víctor Haedo in Asunción.

The trading post had been unused for some time and functioned as an improvised bathroom for marginalized and addicted people who hang around the downtown, according to complaints from neighbors.

Said procedure was carried out after having complied with the corresponding notification and after not having obtained answers from the owners.

Ariel Andino, director of the Municipal Surveillance Police, stressed that this process of removing abandoned boxes aims to meet the demands of citizens and free up spaces for pedestrians.

During this procedure, several wooden boxes were also removed that were used by car attendants to privatize spaces on public roads to “reserve” parking for some drivers.

It should be remembered that yesterday two other abandoned boxes had already been removed from the downtown area of ​​Asunción, in response to complaints that were also made by neighbors.
