The school in which the alleged case of sexual abuse of a child occurred, issued a statement indicating that so far the complaint could not be verified and indicates that “there is no risk situation” for the students.
The institution’s statement states that the protection and safety of students is “paramount” and that preventive and action protocols are constantly reviewed and updated, with the consequent training of our teaching and administrative staff.
They also point out that due to the protection of personal data and privacy of students, they cannot give private information to any unauthorized third party.
Regarding the case involving students of the institution, they state that from the moment the complaint was received, the corresponding investigation began by reviewing and capturing all the videos, questioning teachers and administrative staff, and gathering related information.
They emphasize that so far “there is no identification of any hypothetical aggressor, no medical report of injuries, nor any evidence of irregularities, but this does not imply that we do not continue to cooperate with the authorities, because for the school it is imperative that the final consequences to provide security and protection to the minor allegedly attacked and to the rest of our students”.
They add that, “if this case finally turns out to be a false complaint, it must also clarify up to the last consequences to denounce those responsible before the courts, and protect the good name of the center and its entire educational community.”
They maintain that all the videos from the school’s cameras were made available to the Prosecutor’s Office and that the authorities will continue to be given access to investigate the incident.
“We condemn the publicity that some relatives and their lawyer have given to such a sensitive event, which involves a minor, violating the fundamental rights of the child, which could affect the investigation and due process,” says part of the statement.
Likewise, they indicate that “there is no risk situation for the students within the school, again regretting the embarrassing situations of incivility that a minority group of parents has carried out today, and that are not typical of our principles, values and Ideology. , nor of the human quality of the vast majority of our families”.
