The general director of the Ministry of Health (Minsa), Melva Cruz, reiterated this Thursday that parades are not allowed in open places or on avenues, what is allowed are exhibitions in premises, in which the entry of the assistants.
He stressed that it is not possible to close accesses to these events, without taking into account the crowds that are generated at the entry points and therefore it is important to carry out these activities in controlled places, where the flow of attendees is allowed and all the biosecurity measures.
Cruz said that if the organizers of these activities undertake to maintain 100% capacity, they must verify that all people who enter the premises must have their complete vaccination scheme and comply with biosecurity measures, since the sanction is I would impose on the owners or organizers of the event.
“If a businessman commits to the capacity, he must comply with it and it must not only be the economic sanction, it must have a moral sanction, since the community is being affected,” he said.
He added that if the capacity is 50%, the appropriate separation of the tables must be guaranteed, the attention will be on them and not on the bars.
The organizer, owner of the premises or of the activity must guarantee compliance with biosafety measures, it is important to verify vaccination cards or QR code.
He recalled that it is the regional authorities who grant permits for activities, and are also empowered to carry out operations and close the event if it does not comply with the measures that it promised to guarantee.
