They register a 23.2% decrease in the crime rate during 2023

The Sector Vice President for Citizen Security and Peace, A/J Remigio Ceballos Ichaso, indicated that thanks to the public policy for the protection of the Venezuelan people, “a 23.2% reduction has been achieved in the crime rate, compared to the same period last year.

According to an institutional press release, Ceballos released the information during a meeting with the authorities of the citizen security portfolio, where he highlighted the work of officials in the more than 2,500 peace quadrants, territories protected by servants and public servants.

The occasion was conducive to discussing the development of the rainy season in the country; as well as the deployment of the National Risk Management System (SNGR), with the aim of protecting the lives of citizens at this time.

Finally, he specified that the men and women who make up the police forces and the SNGR are advancing with the development of legal, operational and preventive mechanisms to protect the constitutional rights of the Venezuelan people.
