The president of the republic, Nicolás Maduro, spoke with revolutionary youth forces about the preparations and progress regarding the Congress of the Historical Block, which will have its plenary session at the end of October.
The head of state urged the youth sectors to “build a permanent democratic system, of consultation, of dialogue. “It cannot be a democracy of elites, of surnames.”
Thus, the president asked young people to continue promoting “creativity, innovation, collective thinking, new political culture” in the debates; very contrary to that of the old politics, where anything goes at the expense of seizing power.”
He promoted the idea of creating a “powerful student and youth movement, but that next to it there is a powerful movement of workers, women, grandparents, indigenous people”, within the framework of the debates of the Congress of the Historical Block, which incorporates the 5 generations: the precursors, founders, the young, the golden generation and the great generation.
In this sense, the Minister of Youth, Grecia Colmenares, reported that 1,136 youth assemblies have already been held in different cities of the country in the communal circuits, where different youth organizations are linked.
He said that they have been refining details and debating ideas with the different generations, to make the definitive contributions to the Congress of the Historical Block.
President Maduro recalled the fundamental tasks of this congress, in which they will seek three products for the construction of the Venezuela of 2031: the 7T Plan, The new Socialist State, which leaves behind the old bourgeois State and the Plan to 30 years to have a power country.
The National Congress of the Bolivarian Historical Block brings together all the generations that are protagonists in the construction of the country today, from the precursor of the revolution to the adolescents who are in schools and high schools.
The idea of this process is to listen to all voices, contribute ideas around the necessary transformations that the country needs towards 2031 and for thirty years in the future.
