A truck with more than 190,000 dollars in merchandise that had been stolen was recovered by the National Police on the road to Sorá, in the Chame district.
The Police managed to recover the article with all the merchandise, after an action carried out after being alerted to the theft of the commercial truck in the Juan Díaz sector on the Antón road, where 4 occupants were traveling. The vehicle was taken over by the antisocials who drove to Via Sorá, where upon noticing the police presence, they abandoned it.
In the verification of the same it was possible to recover safe and sound the occupants of the truck and the total merchandise valued at more than 190 thousand dollars, which included electronic equipment such as televisions and microwaves. Some of these had already been taken off the truck.
Deputy Commissioner Vasco Rodríguez, head of the Police Zone, thanked the citizens for their collaboration and assured that the operations continue in the sector with the support of other neighboring areas with control points, in search of those responsible for this act, while the Public Ministry begins the investigations.
