During this Saturday an earthquake was registered in the regions of Ñuble, Biobío and La Araucanía, which affected a hill in the commune of Lota.
According to Senapred, the telluric movement had a magnitude of 4.8 located 25 km west of Lota. After the earthquake, a video showing how a hill in the town collapsed into the sea went viral.

From social networks they were surprised by the magnitude reported, since they felt it stronger. This is because the epicenter was shallow, located at 39.6 kilometers.
