A special Cicpc team carried out the reconstruction of the events that occurred on November 1, 2022 at the Humboldt College, located in Alta Florida, Caracas, according to judicial sources.
That day the kindergarten teachers went up to the roof (4th floor) for an outdoor activity with the children.
Two of the minors approached a skylight that fell off and with it two children, who were taken to a health center where Santiago Alejandro Guerrero (5) died and another was injured.
The investigation was initiated by the 109th Prosecutor’s Office where they accused the director of the Humboldt School, Uta Martínez, as well as the teachers Jazmín González and Jan Niklas Klever. They were charged with culpable homicide and serious culpable injuries, the Prosecutor’s Office reported.
Subsequently, the file went to the 76th prosecutor’s office until it was finally sent to the 79th, from where they processed the reconstruction of the events.
The aforementioned procedure was carried out yesterday, seven months after the event where the kindergarten student died.
