They receive proposals for the Special Law for Land Transport Workers

Reciben propuestas para Ley Especial de Trabajadores y Trabajadoras del Transporte Terrestre

From the Macarao land transport terminal, a discussion was held on the Special Law project for workers in the transport sector, with the aim of creating a statute that protects and guarantees the rights of carriers from Caracas, La Guaira and Miranda.

The president of the Permanent Commission for Social and Integral Development, Rodolfo Crespo, stressed that this type of meetings to work hand in hand with the different sectors of society to go in the process of building special laws.

“Today, as entrusted to us by the president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, we are at the Macarao terminal with the union of carriers from Caracas, La Guaira and Miranda, who have given us a first advance on the fundamental contribution to what it has been called the Special Law for Driver Workers and Driver Workers of Land Transportation,” said Crespo.

He pointed out that it is essential that the project carried out by men and women who know the sector, be brought to the plenary of the National Assembly, in order to convert it into a Law of the Republic.

In this regard, he emphasized that “social street parliamentarianism remains in the street, we have come to collect the proposals of our people, this is not a law made by law firms, it is a law made by the men and women who are in this meeting with us.
